A private residence in Epsom comprising a main living block and a detached pool house. Both structures are characterised by their used of visually exposed concrete and extensive glazing. The south elevation is dominated by the glazed façade with slender, 6m tall concrete columns, triangular in section, elegantly supporting the top floor. The exposed concrete provides essential thermal mass to moderate the internal environment. TALL also engineered the structural glazing and the unique timber entrance stair, constructed from the slightest of timber members.

House in Epsom won a RIBA regional award in 2011 and was shortlisted as only one of two residential buildngs in the international 2012 Structural Awards.
